Ever been to a raid where you have to pass on certain loot, or get to roll greed on other loot? I have.
The spam of windows popping up got to be so tiresome, and cluttered my screen so much, I wrote this mod.
This mod will automatically roll greed, need, pass, or if the setting is disabled, will let you manually roll on loot.
There are several default loot rules defined.
-Bind on Pickup (BoP)
-Bind on Equip (BoE)
-A few specific loot categories setup as examples.
You can add or remove any loot rule you wish, giving this mod some nice flexibility.
For example, if you wish to roll greed on all BoE items, except when on a raid in Karazhan, you can do the following:
-Create a rule, and set the Zone to Karazhan.
-Leave the item list empty, as this will match all items.
-Do not check any checkbox for pass, greed, or need to let you manually roll on loot from karazhan.
-Add another rule, and make sure it is below the first rule.
-This rule, set the Bind On dropdown to Equip.
-Leave the item list empty, as this will match all items.
-Set the greed checkbox for this rule.
Automatic loot settings for each category:
Pass - This will automatically pass on the loot in this rule.
Greed - This will roll greed on the loot in this rule.
Need - This will roll need on the loot in this rule.
If no loot method is selected, you will have to manually roll on the items.
Usage:
/passloot [mod | quiet | menu]
Mod - Turns the PassLoot mod on/off.
Quiet - Turn looting messages on/off.
Menu - Display menu for configuring loot rules.
Notes:
-The default settings are:
Mod: On (If this setting is off, it won't do automatic pass/greed/need on anything)
Quiet: disabled (If this setting is enabled, you won't see what it rolls on)
All loot categories are disabled by default to let you manually roll on them.
-When rolling greed or need on BoP items,
wow will ask you if you are sure you want to roll since it will bind on pickup.
