Ever want to take a vote in a raid, and see what people want to do? Ever hate trying to read through all the spam, and figure out what people said?
Vote will let you create and cast votes to your raid, which raid members can respond to. After 45 seconds, the vote will close, and report on the results, making your job a whole lot easier!
Vote does not require anyone other than yourself to have the mod installed. When a vote is cast, it will be printed in raid, party, or say. The people can then whisper you their vote, and Vote will keep track of each vote, then report on the results after 45 seconds.
Usage
Vote is currently all command-line based. Type in the questions and answers, then cast the vote.
/vote q Do you have a quetsion?
/vote a Answer 1
/vote a Answer 2
/vote a Answer 3 (etc)
/vote cast
A few additional commands to help out:
/vote reset -- Resets all questions and answers
/vote reset question -- Resets just the question
/vote reset answers -- Resets all of the answers
/vote test -- Shows you what the vote will look like
FAQ
Q: Do other people need to have this mod for it to work?
A: No. The mod post the question in raid chat, and people can answer through whispers and raid chat. In future versions, I intend to provide a nice little window for others who have the mod installed.
